It’s been a month and I’m sorry.
Hi friends,
Every time I’ve tried to write something useful, it hasn’t turned out well. My mind wanders from loosely health related things to the utter atrocities happening in Palestine right now.
How can I write about health-ish stuff while over the other side of the world, thousands of people are losing their lives, their children’s lives, their homes and communities.
Like most of the world, I am hoping for a ceasefire soon.
I’ve chosen to donate money to Doctors without Borders. There are plenty of organisations to donate to, but here’s the link if you want to do the same.

I have so much to write about, so many topics to cover, about 17 drafts in my folder of things I’ve started, things I’m researching - you know how I roll.
I was away this weekend for a conference and it was interesting to see a number of speakers talk about what concerns them health wise at an older age. It’s not dropping weight or fat, or fitting into smaller clothes. It was staving off dementia. It was training their bodies for mobility reasons, not vanity projects. It was keeping a close eye on their mental health and having a plan for when things should go pear shaped.
I’ve written about functional exercise before. It’s one of my favourite topics, so I’ve added centenarian olympics to my ever growing list of things to write about.
While I get back on track and pop the wheels back on, perhaps you’d help me with some direction on what topics you’re most interested in reading about so I know what to focus on.
Thanks so much,
Lou xx
